Braúna Diamond Project, Brazil

Developed over many years in the Brazilian state of Bahia by a private diamond mining company, Braúna is South America's first kimberlite diamond mine. The mine, previously owned, but never developed by De Beers, is projected to produce up to 400,000cts of high quality diamonds per annum. Thanks to its cluster of kimberlites, it has ample opportunity for further development in years to come.

Today, Braúna is South America’s largest diamond mine.
